RETURN of The MARGARITA Standoff! In honor of National Margarita Day, US Bartender’s Guild DC Chapter (USBGDC.org) and Marketing Intelligence Agency (ThinknCreate.com) present the 2nd Annual Margarita Standoff. The “Best Rita-Slinger” bragging rights are on the line for the margarita that proves to be the crowd favorite! Bartender vs. Bartender - Tequila vs. Mezcal…will Al Thompson (Minibar), last year’s Champion retain his title or will a new champion emerge from the Standoff as the Best Rita-Slinger in DC!
This is a craft margarita cocktail competition between 8 bartenders returns to Quarter + Glory located on 14th and U Street NW. The competition will take place during the VIP portion of the event. During General Admission all various craft margaritas will be available in order to cast your vote for the Best Rita-Slinger.
Portion of the proceeds benefit USBGDC’s trade education and community service programs.
